Blogging for Scrapbookers

So I decided I wanted to start a blog for my friends and family.  I wanted to show them what it's like to live in the Rio Grande Valley.  But there are so many things to learn about blogging.  I actually thought about and began this blog a long time ago, but it lay dormant because I had no clue how to go about the business of blogging.  But now, I have a blogging teacher - Shimelle of http://shimelle.com/ has offered an online blogging class.  Oh Yeah!  We started this week, and I am just now getting this thing going, but with the help of her concise and thoughtful tutorials, have got the basics figured out.  Put a few gadgets on the side.  Got a picture set up.  Now off to find some content to link to.  There are so many wonderful websites and blogs that I like to surf when I have a minute, it's going to be fun to figure out if I can link to them, and get it done right.  It's a new adventure, and one that many of you who have stumbled upon my blog, already know how to navigate.  So if you're inclined, leave me a comment of encouragement and I'll see you on the web!
