I was in Louisiana this weekend, and could not believe that the clematis at my family’s house was blooming.
Yes, blooming. Normally, after the vine blooms (once a year, usually in late spring or early summer), nothing more happens until the next year. Was it the cool spell they just had? The weather this weekend was absolutely wonderful – low’s in the 50’s, high’s in the mid-70’s.
Now, maybe you are able to get your clematis to bloom in November. If so, I would love to hear how you do it. In the meantime, please enjoy this pretty flower.
